VQ. The capacity to attune to, discern, and act from different layers of vibration and information.
Lives in the mind. Thinks, analyzes, decides.
Lives in the body. Feels, senses, relates.
Lives in the field. Perceives and relates to the energetic layer where action begins.
Each one of these intelligences opened conversations the previous one couldn't reach.
An interrelated system and constellation you cultivate.

Tuning in to your body, to a space, to shifts in energy that most people override or explain away.
How many registers you can access. Self, others, the group field, place, sources beyond the personal. The width of your dial.
Sorting what you receive. What's yours and what isn't. What's perception and what's projection. Signal from noise.
Whether you act from what you receive — or override it with logic, consensus, or doubt.
Cultivating the conditions for your own VQ through practice and rhythm — so it shows up on purpose, not by accident.
These are individual capacities. The power is in building them together — so we develop a shared vocabulary that changes the conversations we're able to have.
We build the future through the conversations we're able to have. And the conversations we're able to have are shaped by the context we operate from. The way we see the world and share it with each other. When the context — what we see — shifts, new possibilities emerge and the world changes.
Most of the work we call culture change works at the level of action or story, working to change behavior through imposing structures or shifting narratives. Context change is different. It changes what people see. What they sense. What they're able to name. From that, the conversations shift. Culture follows.
EQ did this in the 1990s. Psychological safety did it in the 2010s. These new vocabularies didn't transform organizations through culture initiatives — they transformed them by giving people language for what they were already feeling, and changing what was deemed acceptable to say in professional spaces.
VQ offers a similar path by giving us language for what's moving in a field before anyone has named it. The discernment to know what's yours and what isn't, what's signal and what's noise, what's wanting to emerge through a conversation versus what's being imposed on it. As more of us develop this capacity, the conversations our communities are capable of having expand. What we can build together expands with them.
What might we create together when the boundaries of our context and imagination shift?
